Surabaya, June 28, 2025 – The East Java Provincial Board of the Indonesian Gateball Association (PERGATSI) for the 2024–2028 term was officially inaugurated. Diana Kusumastuti, Chairwoman of the Central Executive Board of PERGATSI, expressed her appreciation to the previous board for their significant contributions, including the successful Provincial Congress held in July 2024 and the increased participation in the East Java Provincial Sports Week (Porprov).
Looking ahead, the newly inaugurated board is expected to increase the involvement of student-athletes in the Regional Student Sports Week (POPDA) and aims for East Java to achieve success at the National Student Sports Week (POPNAS), following the example of other provinces such as Bali.
The board is also encouraged to uphold sportsmanship and adhere to the organization's regulations. It is hoped that the new management will continue to advance gateball and elevate the sport to both national and international levels.
